Rock Island resident and White County native Dora Mae Wigington McPeak, 82, was born Jan. 7, 1935 and died Sept. 1 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Oakley Homer and Lavina Chandler Wigington. She was a member of the Church of Christ from her youth, attending services in Europe as well as the United States, and most recently a member of the Church of Christ at East End.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Geraldine Wigington. She was married on April 24, 1953 to her husband of 64 years, Joe Lee McPeak of Rock Island.
