Donna Lee Brewster, 76, of Rock Island died Monday, Feb. 22 at her residence.
She was born March 27, 1939, in Wayne, Mich., and was a retired machinist, and a Catholic. Mrs. Brewster was preceded in death by parents, Alex Eleam and Ann Mudry; husband Walter Thomas Brewster; granddaughter Alexis Rose Moore; sisters Judith Ann Sulliven and Anne Marie Mudry, and brothers Dennis Robert Mudry and Leon Arlen Mudry.
Survivors include daughters Wendy Ann (John) Shepherd, Cindy Marie Winegardner, and Shelley Lee Brewster; grandchildren, John David Shepherd, Amanda (Charles) Kraus, Kelly Shepherd, and Ashton Marie (Alex) Whealock; great-grandchildren, Aress Whealock and Shane Edward Kraus; sisters Kathleen Dorris Shepherd and Linda May Haus, and brothers William John Mudry and James Alexander Mudry. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive. Per her request, Mrs. Brewster will be cremated. There will be no memorial service.
