Donald Edward Mangum, 63

Nashville resident and DeKalb County native Donald Edward Mangum, 63, was born April 29, 1948 and died Jan. 6 at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.A retired self-employed stained glass manufacturer, he was the son of the late Fred and Clydie Banks Mangum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Freddie Mangum.He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Julie and Chris Hubbard and Colleen Rowlette, all of Virginia; three grandchildren, Amanda, Victoria and Danielle Hubbard; two sisters, Peggy West of Nashville, and Debra Roberts of McMinnville; two brothers, Christopher Mangum of McMinnville, and Stephen Mangum of Wisconsin, and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
