Dola Mae Bouldin Searle, 83

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Dola Mae Bouldin Searle, 83, was born Oct. 5, 1935 and died July 10 at her residence following an extended illness.

A member of McMinnville First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Murphy and Ova Lee Hitchcock Bouldin Sr. She was married Jan. 17, 1959 to Frank Robert “Bob” Searle, who preceded her in death March 3, 2018. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Lee Bess and Ova Dean Bess, and two brothers, H.B. Bouldin and M.A. Bouldin.

She is survived by brother, John Bouldin of Rock Island, two stepsons, and several nieces and nephews.

She was employed by ARO, Inc. at AEDC in Tullahoma for several years in the ’50s, and The Boeing Company in Seattle, WN and Cape Canaveral, Fla., in the early ’60s. Her next 30 working years were spent with TRW Space & Engineering, including job assignments in various parts of the U.S. - Cape Canaveral, Fla., Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Calif., Houston, Texas, and Fairfax, Va., where she retired in 1993.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at High’s Chapel with Ricky Minton officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service Sunday at High’s. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children’s Advocacy Center in McMinnville or to First Baptist Church Mission Fund. Online condolences may be made at
