Rock Island resident and Van Buren County native Delta Gertrude Moore, 56, was born June 1, 1959 and died May 2 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville following an extended illness. A restaurant cook, she was the daughter of the late Fred C. and Delta Maureen Billings Moore, Jr. She is survived by husband Nick Couto of McMinnville; two sons, Joe Mosca and Michael Mosca; granddaughter, Ava Paige Mosca; grandson, Brayden Mosca; and brother, Fred C. Moore III of Rock Island. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Peeled Chestnut Cemetery in White County.
