McMinnville resident and Warren County native Delma Faye Kirby, 85, was born March 6, 1937 and died July 8 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Factory, an inspector at Aquatech Inc. and a member of Church of Christ at Unity, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Dillon Tubb and Beatrice Bell. She was married on June 18, 1960 to Robert Lee Kirby, who preceded her in death on July 21, 2018. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother-in-law Gene Allison and niece Lesa Tubb.
Mrs. Kirby is survived by son Mark Kirby of McMinnville, granddaughters Brittany (Jessie) Hillis of Rock Island, and Ashli (D.J.) Cantrell of McMinnville, great-grandchildren, Allie Newby Hillis, Kade Hillis, Remington Hillis, Jackson Kirby, Aubrey Cantrell and Bowman Cantrell, sister Sue Allison of McMinnville, brothers Marlin (Georgia) Tubb and Wayne (Carolyn) Tubb, both of McMinnville, nieces and nephews Christie Allison, Brad Allison, Julie Miller, Jeff Tubb and John Tubb, and several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at High’s Chapel with Billy Duggin, Christie Allison and Jeff Tubb officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation was held Saturday and will be held again Sunday from 12 p.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
