McMinnville resident and Warren County native David Richard “Rick” Turner, 62, was born June 24, 1954 and died Dec. 13 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville following a sudden illness.
A mechanic with Morrison Tank & Vault, he was the son of the late Foster Price and Lucille Young Turner Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Sherry Grissom; and brother Jim Turner.
He is survived by wife, Sabrina Farless of McMinnville; three children, Keith Dewaine Turner and wife Sandy, Gina Farless and Jared Turner, all of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Shelby Turner, Christian Turner, Deyton Farless, Maliki Haston and Treyton Haston; three brothers, Foster Turner Jr., Tom Turner and Kenny Turner, all of McMinnville; and three sisters, Dot Sullivan and Brenda Roberts, both of McMinnville, and Mary Sewell of Murfreesboro.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at High’s Chapel with Carol Ann Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery.
