McMinnville resident and Olean, N.Y., native David Richard Blodgett, 60, was born Feb. 18, 1957 and died Nov. 14 at his residence following an extended illness. A truck driver with Freedom Express, a member of Centertown Community Church, an Alabama Army National Guard veteran, and a graduate of Auburn University and of Troy State in 1987, he was the son of the late Edward Ray and Thelma Lee Edwards Blodgett. He is survived by longtime love, Kerrie Owens of McMinnville; two children and spouses, Tyler and Ann Marie Blodgett of Yuma, Ariz., and Jennifer and Casey Biggins of Shreveport, La.; three grandchildren, Brantley Biggins, Ruby and Millie Blodgett; Kerrie’s children and spouse, Daniel and Dayron Owens of McMinnville and Kasey Owens of McMinnville; sister, Joan Billings (Scott Vignerot) of Manassas, Va.; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Ann Blodgett of Vancover, Wash., and Clark and Janeen Blodgett of Birmingham, Ala.
