Rock Island resident and Flint, Mich., native David John Martin, 52, died unexpectedly Dec. 29 at River Park Hospital.A forklift driver at Yorozu Automotive, he was the son of the late John Elijah and Ethel Rose Borad Martin.He is survived by special significant friend, Helen Martin of Rock Island; special children, Brandon Martin of Rock Island, Euqeka and Lenny Lusk of Morrison; special grandchildren, Cameron, Arianna, LaBraya, Caleb, Caden and Trelyn; brother, Brian Martin of Holly Pond, Ala.; special niece, Tara Martin of Holly Pond; and sister, Sharon Wrisner of Fairview, Ala.Services were held Tuesday at High’s Chapel with burial following at Bethlehem Cemetery at Martin Charge,High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
