Mr. David Edward “Patchie” Jordan, 61, of McMinnville, died Friday, March 11, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
He was born June 7, 1954, in Warren County, was a 35-year employee of General Shale, started going to Arkansas Deer Camp when he was 14 years old and continued until his death. He loved his Arkansas family, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Mr. Jordan was a member of Bonner Church of Christ and was preceded in death by parents Ed and Margaret Barrett Jordan, mother-in-law Mary Sue Winchester, and brother-in-law Alan Clark.
Survivors include his wife Vickie Jordan, daughter Stacy (Mike) Coffelt, son Wesley Jordan, grandchildren Courtnie (Ricky) Comfort and Layne Coffelt, great-grandchild Lillie Page Comfort, sisters Sandra (Wayne) Bell and Teresa (Mark) Parker, brother Josh Jordan, and father-in-law W.H. (Patsy) Clark. Other family members and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 14, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Tim Long and Bro. Ray Weddington will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The Jordan family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., and again Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
