McMinnville resident and Portland, Ore., native Darel Jay Puller, 66, was born Aug. 15, 1948 and died June 22 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga following an accident. He was the owner and operator of Kings Garden Nursery in McMinnville, a retired plumber and pipe fitter in North Pole, Alaska, a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, and a member of Friendship The Baptist Church. He was the son of the late James Elton and Lelia Irene Bates Puller.
