McMinnville resident and Louisville, Ky., native Danny Lee Herrin Jr., 35, died May 6 at White County Medical Center from a drowning accident.The manager of the McMinnville Goodwill Store and a member of Pioneer Community Church, he was the son of Danny L. Herrin Sr., and the late Patricia Ann (Brock) Herrin.He is survived by his wife, Tracy C. McGee Herrin; father and stepmother, Danny and Della Faye Herrin Sr., of McMinnville; daughter, Gracie L. Herrin of McMinnville; sisters, Martha and husband Jason Pocus, Tracy and Jennifer Cherry, all of McMinnville; stepsister, Mary Dennison; brother, Ross Herrin of McMinnville; special aunt, Roxanne Batey of McMinnville; uncle, Paul Winton Conatser of Romayor, Texas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jessie and June McGee of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Jessica McGee (Corey Jacobs) of McMinnville; nieces, Maelee McGee, Stephanie Foreman, Jasmine Pocus and Katelyn Herrin; nephews, J.C. Bouldin and Jason Pocus Jr., Ethan Pocus and Tristan McGee Jacobs; great-nieces, Elizabeth McLear and Kimberland Foreman Welder; and great-nephew, Matthew Welden. He was preceded in death by grandparents and nephew, Randall Foreman.Services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Pioneer Community Church with Gary Few officiating. Burial will follow at New Union Cemetery on Highway 30.
