Damian Ray “Blue” Martin, 26, a Morrison resident and Warren County native, was born Nov. 21, 1994 and died suddenly June 2.

He was an assembly line worker with Bridgestone, and the son of Tracie Cheree Martin of McMinnville, and the late David Ray Meeks. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandmother Charlene Evans and grandfather Ed Martin.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Jacoa Martin of McMinnville, and Tanayha Meeks of Cookeville, brother Jay Meeks of Florida, girlfriend Breanna Gunn of McMinnville, two stepsons Braydon Brown and Grayson Brown, son on the way, Lennox Martin, grandpa Richard Evans of McMinnville, aunt and uncle, Misty and Chris Martin, aunt Shanell Wood, and uncle Brent Meeks, all of McMinnville, nieces Piper Meeks and Coraline Meeks, and nephew Jayden Meeks. Several cousins also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 6, at High’s Chapel with Jason Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 p.m. until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
