McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Cynthia Kaye Jennings, 65, was born April 14, 1948 and died May 12 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.A homemaker and a member of the Church of God at Bethel, she was the daughter of the late Robert Darnbush and Kassie Lee Roberts Darnbush McBride. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by stepfather, James Dewey McBride; and daughter, Michell Denise Jennings.She was married to Jerry Wayne Jennings of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Allan Jennings of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Brandon Jennings, Tyler Merritt and Tia Merritt; two great-grandchildren, Landon Jennings and Addison Jennings; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Ann Darnbush of McMinnville, and James Michael and Debbie McBride of McMinnville; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at High’s Chapel with Billy Campbell officiating.
