Murfreesboro resident and McMinnville native Cory Nichole Potter Keener, 39, was born July 6, 1976 and died suddenly Aug. 25 in Smyrna.A lead communication coordinator with Charter Communications, she was the daughter of Marsha Potter of Murfreesboro and Dale Potter of Knoxville. She was married March 16, 2013 to Chris Keener of Murfreesboro. In addition to her husband, mother and father, she is survived by son, David Aaron “D.J.” Jessie of Murfreesboro; sister, Sarah Potter of Providence, R.I.; brother, John Potter of Knoxville; stepdaughter, Candi (Jeremy) Clements of New London, Mo.; step-granddaughter, Mariah Clements; and step-grandson, Treyton Clements.
