Clyde Medley, 90, of Smithville died Friday evening, March 13, at DeKalb Community Hospital.
He was a member of Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite, a member of Liberty Lodge No. 77, retired from Warren County Furniture, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded by death by his parents; wife, Jewel Medley; and brother, Herman Medley.
He is survived by stepson, Nelson (Fay) Gilreath of Smithville; granddaughter Tarron (Bobby) Huddleston of Lebanon; grandsons, Shane (Donna) Cook of Liberty and Nathan Cook of Smithville; four great-grandsons Colby Huddleston, Quentin Cook, Taylor Cook and Heath Cook; sister, Maggie McPherson of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Tommy Webb and Issac Gray officiating with burial to follow at Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
