McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native Clifford W. Walker, 73, was born Nov. 2, 1943 and died Nov. 18 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following a brief illness. The owner of Walker Sod Farm, a veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard, and a member of Smartt Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Louis Dotson and Martha Jane Welch Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Annie Rosetta Hickerson, L.D. Walker, Inez Boren and Carl N. Walker.
