McMinnville resident and Birmingham, Ala., native Cleo Gertrude Milstead, 97, was born Dec. 21, 1918 and died Jan. 4 at Raintree Manor following a two-month illness. A homemaker and a member of Armstrong Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Dredmon M. and Beulah Madewell Roberts. She was married March 27, 1937 to Charles William Milstead, who preceded her in death on May 12, 1992.
