McMinnville resident and Cleveland, Ohio native Cindy Clemons, 66, was born Sept. 9, 1955 and died Feb. 13 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Pulaski following an illness lasting a few months.

A homemaker and member of Centertown United Methodist church, she was the daughter of the late John Steve and Evie Woodlee Rackar. She was married to Jerry Wayne Clemons, who preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 2019.

Mrs. Clemons is survived by sister Debbie Myers of Gruetli, brother James Anthony Thomas of Tullahoma, nieces and spouses, Whitney and  Jeremy Brown of Coalmont, and Rachel and Michael Grijalva of Shelbyville, nephews and spouse Adam Thomas of Clarksville, Cory Smartt of Altamont, and Colton and Kelly Myers of Coalmont, great-nieces Kyndyl Brown and Elan and Reagan Grijalva, great-nephews Carter Brown and Oren and Coen Grijalva, dear sister-in-law, Paulette Lyle of Morrison, and best friend, Michelle Goethe of McMinnville.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Coalmont Cemetery in Grundy County. Visitation will be Friday from 12 p.m. until time of service. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
