Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Carolyn Reinke, 94, of the Mud Creek community will be conducted Saturday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reinke died Tuesday, May 7, in Manchester. She was born Dec. 16, 1918 in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of the late Frank Suslik and Anna Oracki Suslik. In earlier years, Mrs. Reinke was employed as a phone operator and was also a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and was an animal lover. She will be greatly missed by her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Helmut Reinke, who died June 6, 1994; brother, Edwark Suslik; very special loving niece, Kathy Fortbaught; and brother-in-law, Joseph Fortbaught.
Survivors include her son, Chris Charles Reinke of the Mud Creek community; two stepsons, Robert Martin Reinke and wife, Kathy of Cantonsville, Md.; and Budne Charles Reinke and wife, Diane of Wheaton, Md.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as three sisters, Frances Fortbaught of Baltimore, Md.; Gertrude Luthy and husband, Fred of Washougal, Wash.; and Eleanor Suslik also of Baltimore.  Also surviving is a special nephew, Robert Fortbaught of Ariz., and a special niece, Mary Hartly Leicht of Bel Air, Md., and numerous other family members, cousins and loving friends.
