McMinnville resident and White County native Charlie Crockett Conley, 65, was born Feb. 22, 1946 and died June 12 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.A retired employee of Carrier and member of the Church of God, he was the son of Gertie Williams of McMinnville and the late Clay Conley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Cookie Conley; and two sisters, Joyce Key and Lou Zona Key.He was married April 15, 1963 to Martha Anderson Conley of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert and Tina Conley, Carl and Cheryl Conley and Johnny Conley, all of McMinnville; sister, Marie Buckner of McMinnville; grandchildren, Charlie, Heath, Dillon, Heather (Porter) and Faith Conley, Hannah Cantrell, and husband Jasper, Ashley Pease and husband, J.D.; great-grandchildren, Kylin Cantrell, Crysalin and Kaden Conley; mother-in-law, Arzella Anderson of McMinnville and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.There are no services planned at this time.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
