McMinnville resident and Spaulding, Ill., native Charles William Moore, Sr., 86, was born July 11, 1926 and died July 22 at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro following an extended illness. He was a retired welder with Weaver Mfg. Company, attended Gath Baptist Church, and was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He was the son of the late Gilbert Earl and Nellie Marie Burgess Moore.
