Charles Roy Grissom, 72, formerly of McMinnville, was born July 7, 1940 and died at his residence in Orlando, Fla., on Sunday, March 3, after an extended illness.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Leonard and Lucille Kell Grissom of Rock Island.He is survived by his wife, Donna Grissom of Orlando, Fla. Also surviving are his sister Kathryn Haston and brothers, Gerald, Collier and David Grissom of Rock Island. Other survivors also include his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Funeral service is Friday at 11 a.m. at New Union Methodist Church in Rock Island with David Grissom and Tim Lewis officiating.
