McMinnville resident and Cannon County native Charles Ray Bush, 85, was born May 11, 1931 and died June 26 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville following a sudden illness. A retired maintenance supervisor with Powermatic and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Oren O. and Nannie Mae Whitfield Bush. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, Ed Kirland, Jimmy Moss and Kelly Simmons.
