Morrison resident and Warren County native Charles Loyd Bottoms, 79, was born July 3, 1932 and died Dec. 18 at White County Community Hospital in Sparta following an extended illness.A retired employee of Templeton Roofing Company, an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Charles P. and Noba Cantrell Bottoms. He is survived by one cousin, Leonard and Louise Brown of McMinnville, and special friends, Joan Gulick of Morrison and Felicia Smith of McMinnville.A graveside service and interment was held Tuesday at Shellsford Cemetery with Charles Overton officiating.
