Mr. Charles Leonard Knight, 84, of McMinnville died Sunday, Nov. 4, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 22, 1933 in Warren County, was a veteran, retired from the maintenance department of the Warren County School System and was a member of Unity Church of Christ. Mr. Knight was preceded in death by parents Grady and Lydia Tubb Knight, stepson Stephen Nunley, and brother-in-law Fred Moore.
Survivors include his wife Margaret Ann Wolf Knight, son Kenneth Knight, daughter Kim (Jesse) Solis, stepson Anthony Wayne (Zadie) Nunley, stepdaughter Julia Marie (Steven) Foutch, sisters Dianne (Gary) Adcock and June Moore, grandchildren Christopher Knight, Kyle Knight, Blake Knight, Max Knight, Brittany (Ernesto) Galan, Kevin (Vinorah) Faz, Michael Faz, Viviana Faz, and Jonathan Solis, step-grandchildren Heather (Jacky) Vickers, Tammy Jones, Shelby Nunley, Bridgett Martin, Cara Martin, and Bob Martin Jr., great-grandchildren Elyssa Galan, Emily Galan, and Victoria Faz, and step-great-grandchildren Avery Vickers, Kaitlyn Vickers, Bailey Vickers, Cameron Shaw, Phoebe Shaw, Colby Jones, Ellie Jones, Charlie Marie Jones, and Patrick Martin.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Harold Cook will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Military grave rites will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
