Cassandra Martin-Turner, 51 of McMinnville passed from this life on Thursday, March 4, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.

Cassandra was born Monday, Sept. 29, 1969 in McMinnville, the daughter of Charles Nowlin and Scherre Martin. Cassandra is survived by her husband Richard Turner, mother Scherre Martin, father Charles Nowlin, sister Tonya Martin, half-sister Shawna Renee Savage, half-brother Kevin Nowlin, two brothers-in-law Clifford Turner and Elton Sanders, three sisters-in-law, Sharon Cagle, Tressea Burger, and Katie Myers, four aunts Barbara L. Martin, Freddie Nowlin, Joyce Nowlin and Phyllis Nowlin, four uncles, William L. Martin, Thomas E. Martin, James Nowlin, and Steve Nowlin, and many other family members and friends also survive.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her uncle William Nowlin.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 21, with burial at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com.
