Carol Woodlee Welch, 85, of Dayton, died peacefully Saturday, March 1.She was born in McMinnville and moved to Dayton during her high school years. She owned and operated My Lady Beauty Salon for many years. She was a faithful member of Dayton Church of Christ.She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne C. and Robin Jewell Woodlee of Dayton and formerly of McMinnville, and her ex-husband, J.L. Welch.Survivors include a daughter, Becky (George) Arnold of Dayton; two grandchildren Krista (Rusty) Ray and Clayton Arnold; three great-grandsons, Westin, Cale and Keaton Ray; one brother, Wayne P. (Sydney) Woodlee; nephews, Scott Woodlee of Kingson, and Chris Woodlee of Nashville; niece, Sally Houston of Kingston, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and caregiver, Ann Stinnett.A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Dayton Church of Christ with minister Steve Brown officiating.
