McMinnville resident and Monroe County, Ms., native Carol Lynn Cole, 60, was born July 2, 1956 and died May 13 at her residence following an extended illness.A retired legal secretary and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Bill Cole and Mildred Ross Wiseman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Jerry W. Sullivan.She is survived by two sisters, Sarah Allen of Aberdeen, Ms., and Janice Downs of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Larry Sullivan of Aberdeen, and Danny Joe Cole of Germany; several nieces and nephews; and stepfather Louis Wiseman of McMinnville.Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at High’s Chapel with Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.
