McMinnville resident and Madison County native Carol Corlew Boyd, 52, was born March 20, 1961 and died May 14 at River Park Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.A Lipscomb University graduate, certified public accountant with Totherow, Haile and Welch and member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Martha Taylor of Manchester and the late Jerry Nathan Corlew.Mrs. Boyd was married Sept. 12, 1981 to Steve Boyd of McMinnville. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Allison Boyd of Nashville, Tyler Boyd and fiancee Heather Robertson, both of Murfreesboro, and Daniel Boyd and wife Laura of Nashville; stepfather, Charles Taylor of Manchester; two brothers, Steve Corlew and Marc Corlew; stepsister, Karen Taylor Tennant of Dyersburg; stepbrother, Derrick Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at High’s Chapel with Tony Lawrence and Steve Hillis officiating. Burial will follow at Old Philadelphia Cemetery.
