Mr. Carl Sutton Morrison, 92, of McMinnville, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at Willow Branch Health and Rehab in McMinnville. He was born Feb. 22, 1932, in Morrison, was the owner of Morrison’s Florist along with his wife Nell, and was a member of Doyle First Baptist Church. Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Sutton and Thelma Annis Hickerson Morrison; granddaughter, Chandey Rachelle Morrison; sisters, Elizabeth Zinkowky, Margaret Elanor Edwards and Martha Evelyn Morrison; and brother, John Douglas Morrison.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Nell Bounds Morrison; sons, Carl Sutton Morrison, Jr. and Steve (Lea Anne) Morrison; grandchildren, Sam (Bethany) Morrison, Bud (Amber) Morrison and John (Leanne) Morrison; and former daughter-in-law, Debbie Morrison. Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Bro. Tim Judd officiating. The Morrison family met friends at the cemetery as there was no public visitation at McMinnville Funeral Home.
