Carl Dwight Poss, 68, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, at St. Thomas West. 
A native of Cannon County and a logger, he was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Poss and Ruby Kirby Poss; and brother, Earl Poss.
He is survived by his wife Emma Ervin Poss of McMinnville; two daughters, Lisa (Steve) Stone of Crossville, and Kimberly Bouldin of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Bobby, Ashley, Dustin, Laura, Krissy, and Justin; three great-grandchildren, Bryson, Rylee, and Chloe; brother, Don (Lynda) Poss of Smithville; sister, Elena Wimbush of Macon, Ga.; two nephews, Gregory Poss of Nashville and Jeffery Poss of Nashville; and one niece, Christina Williams of Forsyth, Ga.
