McMinnville resident and Warren County native “Buster” Scott, 53, was born July 26, 1965 and died Jan. 9 at his residence following an extended illness.

Retired from Accu-Router and a member of the Lord’s Church, he was the son of Lincoln B. and Betty Jo Pepper Scott of McMinnville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children and spouses, Khristina and Brent Walling of McMinnville, Duston and Courtney Scott of Jacksonville, Fla., and twins Summer Brooke Scott of McMinnville and Heavenlee Hope and Cody Woodcock of McMinnville; grandchildren Ethan Walling, Kaydence Walling, Kinsley Jones, Addiston Scott, and expected grandchildren Aubree Ann Woodcock and baby boy Walling; brother and sister-in-law Joe and Freda Scott of Rock Island; special friend Betty Solomon of Woodbury, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother Ricky Dale Scott and nephew Stacy Scott.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at High’s Chapel with Glenn Price and Tim Long officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
