McMinnville resident and Warren County native Bunia Charlene Evans, 66, was born May 16, 1954 and died Dec. 12 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness.

Retired from Oster and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Apostolic Faith, she was the daughter of the late Fred Blue and Ruby Vestie Warren Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Freddy Carr; and sister, Freda Jean Carr.

She was married on April 18, 1992 to Richard Evans of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law Chris and Misty Martin of McMinnville, daughter Tracie Martin of McMinnville, two stepchildren and spouse, Julie Lynn Evans of McMinnville, and Jason and Brandy Evans of McMinnville, four grandchildren, Damian Ray Martin, Jacoa Jade Martin, Autumn Skye Martin, and Devin Orion Martin, and special cousin Bobby Warren.

Mrs. Evans will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
