Buna Faye Hickey, 76, of Cookeville died Saturday, Sept. 6, at her home in Cookeville.
Mrs. Hickey was born Thursday, Aug. 11, 1938 in Monticello, Ind. She was the daughter of the late William and Siddie (Herald) Moss. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hickey and her husband Arthur have been members of Stevens Street Baptist Church for 20 to 25 years.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Arthur Hickey of Cookeville; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela S. and Earl Stewart of Baxter; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald E. Hickey of Smithville, Danny J. and DeEtta Hickey of Viola; three grandchildren: Corey and Kayla Stewart of Baxter, and James Samuel Hickey of Viola.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hickey will be held Thursday Sept. 11 at 1 p.m.  from the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Tim Frank officiating. Interment will follow at Lyge Hickey Cemetery in Putnam County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 until 9 p.m.
