Brenda Kay Fann, 60, a McMinnville resident and native, was born Aug. 16, 1958 and died Sept. 19 at her residence following an extended illness.


She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist Church and daughter of the late James Estel and Ola Mae Jones Vaughn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Christopher Michael Fann; and siblings James Dennie, Ann Vaughn, Betty Saldivar, Norma Hill and Joyce Allen.


Ms. Fann is survived by three children, Dennie Vaughn and wife Jennifer, Crystal Davenport and Josh Fann, all of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Jayden Davenport, Jasmine Davenport, Talia Vaughn and J.J. Vaughn; great-grandchild, Illianna Vaughn; four brothers Kenneth Vaughn and Eddie Vaughn, both of McMinnville, John Vaughn of Rock Island and Estel Vaughn of Smyrna; and father of her children, Donnie Fann of McMinnville.


Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at High’s Chapel with Blue Moore to officiate. Interment will follow at Tucker Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Friday until the time of service at High’s. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home toward expenses.
