Brenda Joyce Redmon, 63, of McMinnville died Thursday, Sept. 22 at River Park Hospital. She was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Woodbury, was a beautician, former employee of Calsonic, and a member of Woodbury Church of Christ.Mrs. Redmon was preceded in death by parents Samuel Steven and Mary Susan Harrell Stembridge, daughter Amanda Leann Redmon, sister Joy Stembridge, and brothers Clarence Stembridge and Joe Bob Stembridge.Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Lee Roy Redmon of McMinnville; son Jonathan Redmon of Murfreesboro; siblings Harrell Stembridge, Frank and Cynthia Stembridge, James and Sondra Stembridge, Bernice and Darce Wimberly, Carl Stembridge, Teresa and Russell Farless, all of Woodbury, and Carolyn and Tommy Burks, Russell Stembridge of Murfreesboro, and Wade and Pat Stembridge of Kunkle, Ohio; many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.Funeral service is 2 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Herb Alsup Jr., and Al Bugg Jr., will officiate.
