Mrs. Bobbie Evelyn Atnip, 85, of McMinnville died Saturday, March 5, at NHC Health Care in McMinnville.
She was born Nov. 27, 1936, in Smithville, formerly worked with Rockford Textile Mills, River Park Hospital, Findley Industries, and alongside her husband Jack at the family farm. Mrs. Atnip was preceded in death by her parents Jesse H. and Mary Jane (Janie) Greer Smith and her husband of 48 years Jack Atnip and she attended worship at Berea Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughters Ramona (Jerry G.) Cooper, Teressa (Jeff) Hinkle, and Jackie (Buddy) Killian, grandchildren Christopher (Chasity) Cooper, Renee (Jade) Willis, Shelly (Russell) Lytle, Keirsten Killian, Paige (Dane) Holeton, and Jacqueline (Brandon) Will, several great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Richard Bowman and Dickie Dodd officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery. The family will received friends Monday and Tuesday at McMinnville Funeral Home.
