Quebeck resident and Putnam County native Billy Earl Lafever, 80, was born Nov. 12, 1937 and died Dec. 16 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A self-employed tool maker and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Rev. Earl and Jewell Chesney Lafever. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Gregory Lafever; and two daughters-in-law Janet and Laura Lafever.
