Mr. Billy Earl Jones, 74 of McMinnville died Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville. He was born May 22, 1941, in Warren County, was a retired employee of Findlay Industries, owned and operated Renew Upholstery Shop, served his country with the U. S. Army during Vietnam, was a Warren County Commissioner from the 6th District, served on the Health and Welfare Committee, the Jail Oversight Committee, and the Financial Management Committee, and was a faithful member of East End Church of Christ. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by parents Aquilla and Myrtle Glenn Jones, sister Quillene Bain, brothers James E. Jones and Elma Laten Jones, father-in-law and mother-in-law Jim and Ruby Atnip, and nephew Randall Bain.Survivors include his wife Linda Atnip Jones of McMinnville, daughters LeAnne (Shawn) Grissom and Melissa Jones, grandchildren Clint and Curtis Grissom all of McMinnville, special son Mark Bain of Woodbury, sister-in-law Melba Jones of McMinnville, and brothers-in-law Norman (Kathy) Atnip of Rock Island and Bruce Atnip of McMinnville.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
