Billie Frances Elam, 88, of Morrison (Shady Grove community) died Monday, Feb. 10. She was born July 3, 1925 in Coffee County and was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove the Baptist Church. Mrs. Elam was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Willie Jarrell Bell and her husband of 68 years Emmett B. Elam.Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (Ken) Blankenship of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Steve (Robin) Blankenship of Grapevine, Texas, and Kristi (Chris) Papa of Kennesaw, Ga., and great-grandchildren Ashley, Jack, and Ryan Blankenship and William and Caroline Papa.
