Bettye Jo Woodlee, 87, of Detroit Mich., died Tuesday, March 12, at her residence after an extended illness.She was born in Murfreesboro on Sept. 28, 1925, the daughter of the late Lula (Muncey) and Joe Calvin Massengale. She was a member of Baptist Church and was a factory worker in the automobile industry.She is survived by daughter Terry C. Massengale of Detroit, Mich.; son Tony Mesengale of Dearborn, Mich.; stepdaughter, Dianna Ross of McMinnville; sister, Hallie, and husband Alvin Brock of McMinnville; four grandchildren, De Rondie S. and Kenneth Woodlee, Heather Lynn Massengale, Tammy Y. Foutch and Jerry Butcher, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerrell Woodlee; parents, Joe Calvin and Lula (Muncey) Massengale; two sisters, and one brother.Funeral service was held at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home on Saturday with Danny Barnes officiating. Interment followed at Armstrong Cemetery in McMinnville.
