Betty Vaughn, 52, a Smyrna resident and McMinnville native, was born Feb. 25, 1964 and died Nov. 27 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist Church and daughter of the late James Estel and Ola Mae Jones Vaughn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Norma Hill; and brothers-in-law, Billy Allen and Grady Hill.Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Stephen Bruce Saldivar of Reading, Pa., Richie Saldivar of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Jose and Brittney Saldivar of Woodstock, Ga.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sister-in-law, Estel and Gail Vaughn of Smyrna, Kenneth Vaughn, John Vaughn and Eddie Vaughn, all of McMinnville; sisters, Ann Vaughn, Joyce Allen and Brenda Fann, all of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
