Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Betty Ruth Wright, 94, of McMinnville and formerly of Cookeville will be held Monday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at Algood City Cemetery. Dr. Charles McCaskey will officiate. 

Betty Ruth died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at Raintree Manor in McMinnville. She was born Thursday April 24, 1924 in the Cassville community of White County to the late Timothy Martin and Edna Gertrude Green Wright. She was a homemaker and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Betty Ruth attended Shady Grove Elementary School and was a graduate of White County High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Willie Thomas Wright. Survivors include special friend Carol Goforth and her extended family at Raintree Manor.
