McMinnville resident and Athens, Ohio native Betty Marie Patton, 89, was born April 20, 1928 and died June 13 at the Webb House Retirement Center in McMinnville following an extended illness. Retired from Century Electric and of the Christian faith, she was the daughter of the late John Elsworth and Bessie Crum Adams. She was married to first husband, Ralph Dean Pierce, Sr. who preceded her in death on July 7, 2003 and second husband, Harold Horton Patton who preceded her in death on March 13, 1998.
