Betty Katherine Rigsby, 87 of Morrison died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024. She was born May 23, 1936, in Algood, Tenn. and was a factory worker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, loved gardening and adored her flowers. Ms. Rigsby was preceded in death by her parents, William Clennie, Sr. and Nora Lee Cannon Breeding; sister, Irene Becker;  brother, Joe Breeding; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Rigsby.

 Betty is survived by her children, Robert Dale Rigsby, David Allen Rigsby and Donna Faye (Jeff) Walker; brothers, James Breeding, William Breeding and Jerry Breeding; grandchildren, Clint Rigsby, Shelby Rigsby, Katie Walker (Gary) Poole and Holly Redding; and nine great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and family friends also survive.

 Funeral service was 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.  Danny Barnes officiated. Interment followed at 2 p.m. at West Cemetery, 8901 Fairview Road in Cookeville. Visitation with the family was held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
