Betty June Howard, 77, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born June 16, 1935 and died Jan. 3 at NHC Healthcare following an extended illness.A retired loan officer with Farm Credit Services and member of First Baptist Church, she was the longtime director of the Barbersharps choir. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Alene Wood Kirby.She was married Sept. 19, 1952 to Joe Lane Howard, who survives. She is also survived by son, Barry (Kathy) Howard of Brentwood; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Janice Howard, and Ronnie and Betty Howard, all of McMinnville.A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with John May officiating.
