Betty Jo Greenwood Coleman, 74, of Smithville died Sunday April 7 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.Ms. Coleman was born Sept. 17, 1938 in Livingston to the late James Elbert and Zella Teola Hunter Greenwood. She was retired from the state of Tennessee Employment Security Department and was also an apartment manager. She was a member of Old New Hope Baptist Church.Survivors include her son, Terry Coleman and wife Tammy of LaVergne; grandson Zach Coleman; sister Susie Clark and husband Bobby of Sparta; brothers and their spouses, Bobby Jack and Zona Greenwood, Denny and Shirley Greenwood, all of Sparta, Rick and Kathy Greenwood of Manchester, a nephew and several nieces.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial at Old New Hope Cemetery.
