Morrison resident and Jefferson County, Ky. native Betty Ann Lightfoot Edwards, 92, was born Dec. 14, 1931 and died Feb. 25, 2024 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN following an extended illness.
A retired employee of Century and Kroger and member of Shepherd of The Hills Lutheran Church, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Hamilton and Marion Frances Perkins Lightfoot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Robert Louis Edwards; sister, Audra Rafter and brother, Ray Lightfoot, Jr.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by children, Linda Edwards York (Douglas Scott) of Cookeville, Bobby (Leah) Edwards and Ronnie (Teri) Edwards, all of McMinnville and Pam (Randy) Youngblood of Morrison; 14 grandchildren, Tony York (Kelly Johnson), Teri York (Colin) Fitzgerald, Kami (Allen) Cantrell, Keli Clark, Robert (Lori) Edwards, IV, Casey Edwards, Bella Scott, Megan Edwards, Nathan (Carrie) Edwards, Andrew Edwards, John Edwards, Elise Edwards, Kara Youngblood and Keith (Mackinzie) Youngblood; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3 at Shepherd of The Hills Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church. There will be no visitation or services at High’s.
