Barbara Jean Bess, 73, of McMinnville died Monday, June 27 at Raintree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville.She was born May 9, 1938 in McMinnville, was a former quality control inspector for McMinnville Garment Company, and was preceded in death by father Alvin Ira Bess, mother Beulah Hill Bess Dunlap, sister JoAnn Lynn, and great-nephew Gabe Fellers.Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Joe Bost; brother-in-law, Marvin Lynn; nieces, Sonia and Eric McMahan, Tara Ann and Tim Fellers, and Allison Bost, and great-nephews, Garrett and Jayden Fellers.Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bob Bonner will officiate.
